In this one-off Christmas competition special, 8 amateur crafters from across Britain get festive as they put their miniature making skills to the test.

They’re tasked with transforming an empty doll’s house wooden cabin into a luxury, aspirational winter retreat. Dreaming big but building small, our mini makers will work in teams to tackle the renovation – with all the contents shrunk down to a twelfth of their usual size! Expect a good old-fashioned Christmas as they make miniature presents to go under tiny Christmas trees; a festive feast with pint-sized puddings and teeny-sweet treats … and plenty of other small seasonal surprises! Overseeing the action is miniature enthusiast Sandi Toksvig – armed with more than a sprinkling of Christmassy facts. Judging the results are world-record holding micro-sculptor Dr Willard Wigan MBE and interior design guru Laura Jackson.

From dinky decorations to tiny turkeys, Channel 4’s latest Christmas challenge is like no other
