Local legend Brian George is a retired butcher living in beautiful Bannau Brecheiniog  who has some unusual visitors to his garden. Every lunchtime, he leaves out nutritious scraps from the famili butcher which attracts tens of red kites. His unofficial back garden bird sanctuary now attracts birdwatchers and bird lovers from across the UK who come to see this magnificent spectacle!

NB – Feeding wild birds is not encouraged but Brian is in an area close to the Red Kite Feeding Centre and has taken expert advice about what he feeds them.
