We understand that access needs are broad and diverse and can include physical, sensory, emotional, intellectual, and financial considerations. As part of our commitment, we take the following measures to ensure accessibility is integrated into all our practices.
Opening Hours
Southgate House has a manned reception from Monday to Friday 06.00 to 20.00. Saturday 08.00 to 13.00
Our team works flexible hours and a mix of in-office and remote working environments.
Public transport
Cardiff Central is the nearest train station – >5 min walk, 0.1 mile
There are Bus stops on Westgate Street and Wood Street, both >5 min walk
Nearby car parks
Central Station, Wood St, Cardiff CF10 1LA – 3 min walk
John Lewis Car Park, Hayes Bridge Rd, Cardiff CF10 – 6 min walk
There is free parking a 10 -15 walk from the office on and nearby to Court Road (park outside the marked bays)
Blue Badge Parking
Accessible Parking is available on site in the basement car park. Car park is located on Havelock Street. Accessible access to building via car park entrance ramp.

Level Access and Lifts
There are lifts to all floors and level access to our office and meeting rooms.
Accessible Kitchen
Found in Rondo Media’s office, just across the corridor from Yeti’s.
Access Infrastructure
Door handles, buzzers and pass readers are all at accessible heights.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets can be found floor 6 of the building.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs, and assistance dogs in training, are welcome throughout the building.
Quiet space
There is one wheel-chair accessible meeting room available. Please speak to our team who can book a meeting room.
Accessible Evacuation
There is a fire-safe stair exit on every floor.
Communications
Our team communicate via email, telephone and Teams.
Large print / plain text versions of documents are available upon request.
Online events, interviews and other remote activities
- Closed captions can be enabled during all our online meetings.
- We welcome requests for a BSL interpreter as and when needed.
- Instructions can be provided on how participants can ask questions e.g. non-verbal feedback and chat feature.
- Any resource links shared either prior to or after the session is also shared via email where possible.
Showers
There are 5 showers on Floor 1 west. One of the showers is wheelchair accessible.
